 about Bitcoin but are not really sure what all the hype is about? With the 
price up more than 60x on this time last year a lot of people are making
 serious money on this decentralised peer-to-peer "cryptocurrency".<br> <br>
 This week DU Pirate Party are delighted to be hosting Jean-Pierre Rupp, a software 
developer and entrepreneur specialized in Bitcoin for a talk. Mr. Rupp who was an early 
Bitcoin enthusiast,  has held all his money in Bitcoin since early 
2011. He is now a co-founder of the Bitcoin security startup Haskoin (<a href="http://haskoin.com/" rel="nofollow nofollow" target="_blank">http://haskoin.com/</a>)<br> <br>
  In the talk Jean-Pierre will provide an intro to Bitcoin, explain some
 of the underlining technology and provide his views of the potential
