Hugh has given talks at Knowledge Exchange Dublin on the subject of Hacktivism,</div><div style="text-align:center"><br></div><div style="text-align:center"><div>Over the last few years, technological activism has been increasingly visible online. </div>
<div>With various political movements adopting technological tactics and the rise of Anonymous, </div><div>this talk will attempt to explain the historical background of hacktivism and give an impression of tactics it encompasses and their impact.</div>

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday the 29th, location is still being organised.<br>Mark the date!<br>There will be voting in of a new council for the following year and refreshments.<br><br><u><b>Server Issues:<br>

</b></u>The Pirate Party will be hosting a series of short informal discussions on a variety of topics.<br></div><div style="text-align:center">This event which was very successful in past years, will be held next week, on Monday in the LongStone pub at 6:30pm<br>

A brief explanation of what Avast is:<br>A list of several topics will be made, you and your table are tasked with discussing your choice of topics. <br>No small talk allowed! 5 minutes per topic, then move onto the next one.<br>
